Healdsburg's town plaza is the embodiment of the word "charm," where shopping, dining, wine tasting, fine arts and entertainment converge. The monthly Healdsburg Art Walk showcases the town's 20-plus galleries from May to December, and the local Museum and Historical Society offers captivating displays and exhibits. Organic locally-grown produce, artisanal breads and cheeses, inviting inns and many other treasures await visitors and locals alike.

Healdsburg is artfully situated within three of the area's illustrious wine regions: Russian River Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley. Outdoor adventures are abundant from canoeing to camping in this picturesque community, and a hot air balloon ride will present a breathtaking aerial view.

Once home to the Pomo Tribe centuries ago, the area remained natural and secluded until the Gold Rush years. Healdsburg was incorporated in 1867, and much of that colorful history is apparent throughout the town. Today's residents find it to be a desirable and pleasing place to live.
