More About Me
For Ian Kalember, real estate is as much about people and place as it is about property. With deep roots in Sonoma County and a career shaped by business, community involvement, and real estate, Ian brings a thoughtful, practical perspective to every transaction.

Before becoming a licensed real estate professional in 2011, Ian built a successful career as an executive in the home insurance industry and later owned a local retail business. That experience gave him a valuable understanding of homes from multiple angles, from risk and property considerations to the importance of listening carefully, solving problems, and taking good care of people.

Ian’s connection to Sebastopol extends well beyond real estate. Over the years, he has served on several local boards and organizations, including the Sebastopol Downtown Association, Chamber of Commerce, Entrepreneurs Project, and the City of Sebastopol’s Business Outreach Committee. His involvement has given him an intimate understanding of the communities, neighborhoods, and people that make West Sonoma County such a special place to call home.

As an agent, Ian is known for being approachable, knowledgeable, and steady throughout the process. He understands that buying or selling a home can be exciting, complicated, and deeply personal. His goal is to make that experience feel clear and well managed while helping his clients make decisions with confidence.

When he’s not working, Ian is happiest outdoors with his family, exploring Sonoma County’s beaches and trails or heading to Lake Tahoe with his wife, Stacy, their sons, Hal and Fin, and their yellow Lab, Willow.
